About the club

Welcome to the web site for Malvern and District Motorcycle and Light Car Club. We are located in Malvern, Worcestershire, beneath the picturesque Malvern Hills. The club is affiliated to the Western Centre Auto Cycle Union (ACU). We also have close links with other motorcycle clubs and organisations throughout the three counties of Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.

The club was started over 50 years ago and has been involved in motorcycle sport for most of that time and is still active in motorcycle trials and grass track events. Our interests also extend to classic and modern motorcycles, and our members often organise visits to shows, race meetings and rallies.

We have a busy social calendar with regular club nights on Monday and Friday every week. Ladies league skittles also on Monday and men's league skittles on Thursday. There are also interest visits, quiz evenings, social skittles with other bike clubs and charity skittles to name but a few.

Whether or not you are interested in bikes, the Wednesday speakers nights (held on the first Wednesday of each month) promises to be entertaining and fun. We have talks on many motorcycling topics, plus general interests from home brew beer to railways and from treks round the Sahara desert to buses. Check the calendar on this site for upcoming events.

The annual hog roast, always on the first Wednesday in July, is held in all weathers (inside if wet). Although the pig would disagree, this is always a memorable evening out, suitable for the little people too. There is always plenty of salad as well and good company aplenty.

If you need a CBT or training to full bike licence, then the Malvern Motorcyclist Training Scheme meet at the club on Sunday mornings during the winter or Monday evenings during the summer. See the MMTS web site for more details: www.mmts.info
